Backerei Hiltner GmbH in Amberg

We went to the Hiltner bakery in Amberg for the first time today. We have seldom got such good cakes. Absolutely fresh, fluffy cream and very good taste. The large pieces of cake and the low price for this quality were striking. The four large pieces for € 9.60 are more than okay. The staff was also in a good mood and friendly. We gladly accept the 20 km from Schwarzenfeld again if we want to do something good for our palate. We will definitely be back.

Almost a year of Corona and you still cannot contactless e.g. Pay via Apple Pay ... It makes little sense to disinfect your hands and then pay with cash. I explicitly asked for card payment and the staff said that they would like that too.

At that time I had a very delicious breakfast with a friend and I would love to come back if I’m around. Can absolutely recommend the Hiltner.

Today, like so often, I bought cake, really delicious. Nevertheless, I will no longer shop there and no longer visit the café! The waitresses were unfriendly and I was refused the toilet! Outrageous! You cannot pay by card in Corona times! There are other customer-oriented businesses as well.

Very friendly wait staff, cozy atmosphere, the hygiene measures are implemented very well. The cakes taste good but are also expensive.

We recommend. Breakfast for 2 people with all the trimmings for less than 30 euros. Great service and you will be served at the table 👍

The rooms are large, with a large selection of breakfast and brunch and at the sales counter. Friendly staff 🙂

"Bar only" - really now? With the size of the shop? Everywhere it says "if possible with a card or app". The coffee "to go" - I still had that much change - was good!

Chicken Salad with pineapple was good. Could have had more greens in it. Don't go on hot days there is no airflow it is suffocating inside.

Very rude staff. I wanted to buy a vegetarian pita. Unfortunately there was only the flatbread with sausage. I kindly asked if she could please give me a flatbread vegetarian. The lady was very annoyed and said no, and offered me no alternative. A shame for such a big baker.

My favorite place for kaffeetrinken! A great variety of cakes and coffees and a menu as well if you’re really hungry.

This is the place to be just have to make reservations ahead

My favorite breakfast place in the entire area! The atmosphere is great and so is the food. English menu is provided but they do not take card (ATM a couple hundred meters from restaurant). The staff is very friendly, fast and speaks English.

Service is good.We come to this restaurent 2 time. Overall I recommend this coffee, cake and food this restaurant.Here have parking for car and bike.

Great place! Even has a little play-area for kids. The breakfast is amazing!!! But the burgers not so much-the buns aren’t even self-made.... The building is newly renovated and used to be a car dealership. Looks great but can get very noisy easily.

Great atmosphere, location, and great breakfast!

Nice place for breakfast, brunch, or pastries. Quick service and most waitresses speak/understand English. Also nice selection of aperol, spritzers, day wines for the grown ups. Prices not too bad either.

They have a really good selection of breads, cakes and pastries, but their prices are also fairly high. They have a large area for eating and also their own parking area. Their restaurant is clean, including the bathroom. The staff is very friendly and fast. Many people enjoy their breakfast selections and at times its hard to get a seat.

Large selection of baked goods! You can have breakfast here extensively and delicious. Cleanliness is also great! There is a play area. Staff is friendly and working fast.

Very good breakfast and value for money perfectly fine. A reservation is always worthwhile. Without it it can be hard to get a table.

Food, ambiance and service was impeccable. The salmon was fresh and added a nice touch to our breakfast! Recommend adding mozzarella and tomatoes to your eggs as well!

This is a great place for Sunday brunch. I love the bread and the location make it very easy to find.
